Metropolitan State University of Denver Selects YuJa Enterprise Video Platform for Campus-Wide 5-Year Contract

Metropolitan State University of Denver is replacing their Kaltura enterprise instance with the YuJa Enterprise Video Platform.

YuJa was selected because of its state-of-the-art features and competitive pricing said Information Technology Services and AHEC’s Procurement & Distribution Services in a joint statement.

The YuJa Enterprise Video Platform will integrate seamlessly with the college’s existing Blackboard LMS and will support a wide-variety of video-based activities.

University of North Alabama Selects Portfolium For Gen Ed Assessment and ePortfolios

Online Program Managemen – University of Dayton School of Law 

UD to Begin Offering New ‘Hybrid’ Online Law Degree

The University of Dayton (UD) has partnered with 2U to offer a law degree program, starting in 2019, in which students can complete most of their courses online.

The American Bar Association approved a variance on May 17 that allows UD to establish this ‘hybrid” program which will include on-campus instruction with online coursework.

Orbis Education and Averett University Partner to Develop New Accelerated BSN Program

Orbis Education has partnered with Averett University to develop, market and manage an Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program which will blend technology and traditional learning methods to enable students to graduate in as few as 16 months.

Also under the partnership agreement, Orbis will fund and develop a state-of-the-art facility that will include nursing labs that replicate the clinical setting.

David Bruce, Deputy CIO, Accepts CIO Position at Cleveland State University

This July, David Bruce will become the associate vice president and chief information officer at Cleveland State University in Cleveland, Ohio.
