CSU, Chico Partners with HighPoint Technology Solutions to Provide New Student Success Tools
Following a signed partnership with HighPoint Technology Solutions, students at Chico State will be able to search, register, and plan for courses in a human-centric way. HighPoint Campus Experience, HighPoint Schedule Builder, and HighPoint Degree Planner, which interfaces with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, will be used to promote better outcomes for students and institutions at Chico.
“We were quickly approaching the end-of-life for our first-generation mobile application and our homegrown public-facing campus class schedule. […] The HighPoint Campus Experience application provided a single solution to all three problems. […] We anticipate that implementing these tools will greatly enhance the user experience and contribute toward student success,” says Andy Miller, Associate CIO at Chico State.

Huron Selected as New Electronic Research Administration System Vendor
After a year of planning and decision-making among faculty, staff, and leadership across the university, Vanderbilt selected Huron Grants and Agreements for its proven track record of on-time and error-free implementations.
The 14-16 months timeline has been altered to accommodate COVID-19 related restrictions. “While the COVID-19 pandemic deeply underscores the value of research for the public good, this is also a time of uncertainty and challenges,” said Vice Provost for Research Padma Raghavan. As professors are working hard despite the current difficulties, Vanderbilt is supporting these efforts by moving forward with this much-needed system replacement.

Pace University has selected the Brightspace platform as its new learning management system based on its easy-to-use, robust learning analytics dashboard, its capacity to support fully online learning, and finally D2L’s commitment to continual improvement and working as a true partner with educators.

Imperial College Business School Launches Online Executive Courses Through EMERITUS Partnership
EMERITUS is partnering with Imperial College Business School to create a suite of online executive education programs. This is building upon the existing on-campus programs that provide executives with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the digital age.
The first three programs are Imperial Executive Program in Digital Marketing and Analytics, Imperial Business Analytics: From Data to Decisions, and Imperial Machine Learning for Decision Making, which will be launching in June 2020.

New Software Partnership will Support Student Success Initiatives
The University of Texas at San Antonio has partnered with Civitas Learning in order to expand the university’s student success initiatives. “[…] Our focus now is on using data-informed decision making to accelerate that progress,” says Kimberly Andrews Espy, provost and senior vice president for academic affairs. She believes Civitas has the tools necessary to guide their decision making.
One of these tools is Inspire, a holistic advising support platform, which will be used to support students and coordinate care. Workshops will be available this month to introduce the software’s underlying data science to the school’s higher administration.
