Byju’s Buys Great Learning for $600 Million to Expand Offerings
India’s Byju’s is acquiring higher education platform Great Learning for $600 million. An entry to the higher education segment for Byju’s, it combining its technology with Great Learning’s professional courses in areas such as design and cloud computing.
“We are seizing an opportunity to create a very large edtech company for the world,” said Byju Raveendran, the founder and chief executive officer of Byju’s on a video call.
Great Learning will run as an independent unit, while Byju continues to expand globally.
