D2L Completes Transformation to Modernize its Learning Platform
D2L announced that it has completed moving 100% of D2L clients to the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud. This move to a singular environment allows for more frequent and automatic enhancements, reduced complexity of infrastructure technology, better overall stability as well as numerous feature improvements to the core platform.
This major initiative, set out three years ago, was largely uneventful and D2L was able to successfully retained 98% of its education clients. “Our clients need us to provide them with certainty so they can deliver on their state-of-the-art learning programs. We bring the certainty they need,” said D2L COO Cheryl Ainoa.
