Microsoft Brings ‘Mission Alignment’ to Viva with Ally.io Acquisition
Microsoft recently purchased Ally.io with plans to incorporate it into the Microsoft Viva platform. Ally.io startup will be transitioned into Microsoft’s Viva efforts “over the next year,” said Kirk Koenigsbauer, COO and corporate vice president of Experiences + Devices at Microsoft.
Ally.io offers software and consulting services that help companies develop a framework of OKRs (objectives and key results), thus providing a way for managers to assess employee performance and overall progress as a company.
“Ally.io and Microsoft Viva will enrich how people and teams come together to build alignment and achieve better business outcomes,” Koenigsbauer said.
