- What is “personal information”?
In this policy, “personal information” means information about an identifiable individual. Generally, “personal information” does not include information that is used for the purpose of communicating or facilitating communication with an individual in relation to their employment, business or profession such as the individual’s name, position name or title, work address, work telephone number, or work email address. Information that is anonymized and cannot be associated with an identifiable individual is not considered to be personal information. - What type of personal information do we collect and how we collect it?
Depending on your interaction with us, we may collect personal information about you in the following situations:- When you create an account to access the Client Portal. We create the personal information you provide to create your account: your name, contact information (email), company and password.
- When you subscribe to our newsletter. We collect the email address, first name and last name you provide when you subscribe to our newsletter.
- When you communicate or interact with us. We collect personal information you provide when you communicate or interact with us, for instance through email, telephone, on social media or through a feature on our Websites (such as an online contact form).
- When our clients provide us with personal information about you. If you are an employee of a client of LISTedTECH, your employer may provide us with personal information about you to allow you to use our services in the course of your employment, such as your name and contact information (email).
- When you browse on our Websites (including when you use the Client Portal). We collect certain information automatically when you browse our Websites (including when you use the Client Portal), using cookies and similar technologies. - How we use personal information?
We may use your personal information as follows:- Providing our services. We use personal information as necessary to provide and deliver our services. For instance, we may need to use your personal information to manage your account on the Client Portal.
- Respond to your inquiries and communicating with you. If you contact us with a question or inquiry, we may use your personal information to respond to you. We may also communicate with you for business development purposes and to market our services. If you no longer wish to receive our commercial electronic messages, please follow the unsubscribe procedure included in each of these messages.
- Managing our business and Websites. We use your personal information for several reasons in connection with our business operations, which may include exercising due diligence to prevent or reduce our commercial risk, to ensure the security of our Websites or to enforce any agreement to which LISTedTECH is a party.
- Business analytics and creating new products.We may also use information about our clients’ interaction with our Websites for internal business analytics purposes and to create new products. For instance, we may create and commercialize new products such as statistical reports derived from aggregated and anonymized information about how users interact with the Client Portal.
